Head of Housekeeping
Head Housekeeper – Aberdyfi, Mid Wales / Eyri National Park
We're looking for a Head Housekeeper to head up our friendly team at our Aberdyfi centre.
Full time / permanent
Location: Outward Bound Aberdyfi, Eryri National Park, mid Wales.
Contract: Full time / permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week. (no split shifts and most weekends off).
Salary: £25,408, plus benefits. £13.03 per hour.
Holidays: 32 days a year, including bank holidays (rising by a day a year to a maximum of 38 days)
who we are looking for
We are looking for a natural team leader, someone who will undertake the work cheerfully and with enthusiasm, who is thorough and highly organised. The Head Housekeeper will be comfortable with managing a team and know how to get the best from them. They will take pride in housekeeping and cleaning, work effectively with others, and enjoy looking after our visitors and course participants.
What you'll be doing
As part of the Hospitality Team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the high quality provision of housekeeping services at our residential centre in Aberdyfi.
The role involves leading, supervising, and training a skilled team of hospitality staff, ensuring all housekeeping tasks are completed to a high standard
Key responsibilities include conducting appraisals, assisting with rotas, managing stock control for housekeeping items, and ensuring compliance with COSHH and Health & Safety regulations.
