Our Adventure levels

Our adventures are grouped by age and they start at age 10 and go up to age 22. Whether you’re looking for your first few days in the wilderness or an epic 19 day adventure, we have something for you.

We’re in the best places for adventure in the UK - the Lake District, Scotland and Wales. Adventures are also levelled to suit experience.

Basecamp

First wilderness experience or first time away from home on your own? A supportive, but challenging and adventurous experience.

Ridge

Already have outdoors experience, such as Scouts or Guides, or been to Outward Bound before? More challenge brings more fun and more discovery.

Summit

Experience of outdoor expeditions and camping in the wild? High levels of personal challenge plus the unique opportunity to lead your own expedition.

Pinnacle

Previous experience of outdoors and camping or already been on an Outward Bound Adventure? Explore deep into the wild and sleep under canvas every night.
