The event featured music from Charlotte Campbell and an interview with mountaineer Alan Hinkes OBE, the only Briton to have summited all 14 mountains in the world greater than 8,000m. There were contributions from John Clarke and Alex from Walsall Academy, outgoing CEO Nick Barrett’s State of the Nation address and a chance for attendees to visit break out rooms to meet with alumni from their Centres. Paul Rose (Eskdale, 1971) hosted the event, which featured festive
music, poetry and contributions from CEO Nick Barrett, recent course
participant Sadie and a Hollywood actor!
There were many Christmas
jumpers and hats, and also a glass and a mince pie or three!
