WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
The key purpose of this job is to ensure the wellbeing of the students whilst in our residential centres.
During the summer months we run courses for Individuals and during the student’s recreational time we use a team of House Parents / Pastoral Staff to support them during the evenings, mornings, and some overnights. This role includes providing proactive pastoral support, including a range of activities in the evening, and being a point of contact for anyone contacting the centre outside of office hours.

You’ll need to enjoy working with young people, be hard-working, organised, sensitive and reliable, and are willing to go the extra mile to ensure the safety and well-being of the students in our care.
You don’t need to be an expert in the outdoors, but must have the ability and skills to build a caring, friendly and positive rapport with students, while, at the same time, be able to deal appropriately with any issues that arise.
You’ll be happy working unsupervised and to take instructions from more experienced staff.
