Since the end of the pandemic, demand for our work has never been higher. We're fully booked in 2024, and although this is fantastic to see, it creates a huge challenge – a significant funding gap.
Over 80% of our young people require funding to participate in an Outward Bound course. In 2024, we need to raise £4m to help fund their adventures, which gives them important life skills such as teamwork, resilience and determination. They become armed with strong character and a genuine love for the natural environment around them. Skills that equip them for life.
That’s why we're running our 2023 Christmas Appeal, to bridge the gap and raise vital funds so that every young person has the means to attend a transformational Outward Bound residential in 2024.
All donations made to our Christmas Appeal in December will be matched. So for example, if you give £5,000, it will be doubled to £10,000. Plus, if you are a UK taxpayer you can add even more value by ticking the gift aid box when making your donation.
Any contribution you can make is hugely appreciated and will go a long way to supporting young people who otherwise, wouldn't be able to attend an Outward Bound residential in 2024.
