Sandy Wallace - Loch Eil, Scottish Highlands, 1982

Attended a 3 week Outward Bound Course around April 1983 when I was 18 and had not long started working for Jaeger Tailoring in Kilmarnock as a Trainee Manager. Course was made up of a mixed group of civilians and armed forces personnel. Learned a lot about myself on the expeditions and exercises. Some highlights include climbing Ben Nevis the hard way, capsizing in the sea and surviving 24 hours with no food and only my own company.
