I attended as a lad and came back as mature young man. I came from a Edinburgh housing estate school, and met lad's from all over britain, we all had our banter, and in all we had a great adventure, with sailing on cutter's to the prince louise, and even roughing it on the mountains camping in freezing weather, and finding our way about, and home with basic ration's to eat on the way, i like to think it was the making of me, as of other's like me,to face a unknown future career,and care for other's not so fortunate.
