John Gillespie - Ullswater, The Lake District, 1964

My course name was U87J and I was in Watcons patrol. I was the only Irish boy there at the time from Belfast. My most shocking memory is my first cold shower directly from lake ullswater which fed the showers! My greatest memory is our patrol winning all the sports events in march. My best pal was Geoffrey Lloyd, my team captain was a guy called Topp from London and my instructor was Mr Appleton. Great time which left me with very fond memories. Would love to hear from Geoffrey again or any of my old team members.
