Dennis Lee - Aberdovey, Wales, 1963
Hi.I was sponsored by the then English Steel Corporation and was living in Sheffield at that time.
I was a member of Beresford Watch. Unfortunately I have no photos to post.But my memories are of a tough but brilliant experience.As I played for one of the company's football teams,they couldn't believe the level of fitness I reached after the course.My son has recently taken me back to Aberdovey as I am nearing my 70th Birthday.The school has changed quite a lot,but still has features which I could relate to.I was very pleased when I approached a young chap who asked for a few details then he promptly produced a copy of my report.I couldn't thank him enough
