A residential gathering for women’s business networks, combining meeting time, outdoor learning, good food, conversation and celebration at Outward Bound Eskdale.
Bring your group to the place where Outward Bound’s story with women began.
At Eskdale, you’ll have space for your own meetings and conversations, time to connect as a network, and the chance to experience a taste of Outward Bound for yourself.
This is part learning experience, part celebration, part chance to step outside the usual way of doing things.
You’ll leave with stronger connections, fresh perspective and a real link to our 75 Years of Women and Girls campaign, helping open the door for the next generation.
Why?
This experience gives your group the chance to step away from the usual setting and do something different together.
It is designed to help women’s networks:

- Gain fresh perspective away from day-to-day pressure
- Experience Outward Bound outdoor learning first-hand
- Celebrate women’s leadership, confidence and possibility
- Be part of a campaign helping more girls access adventure

Outdoor learning
A mini Outward Bound adventure, shaped around your group and supported by our instructors. No outdoor experience is needed.
Food and accommodation
Shared meals, overnight accommodation and time to relax at our Eskdale centre.
Social moments
Opportunities to come together over dinner, conversation, networking and fireside chat.
Time to celebrate
A chance to be part of our 75 Years of Women and Girls campaign, celebrating the past and helping open the door for the next generation.
Meet the next generation
During your time at Eskdale, our Women in Early Careers Development Course may also be taking place.
Where possible, there will be opportunities to come together, share stories and connect across generations. Your group may meet young women at the start of their careers who are building confidence, communication and leadership through their own Outward Bound experience.
It is a chance to listen, encourage and be reminded how powerful role models can be.
