Here's what your Summer Adventure could look like...

Every centre is different but here is a taster of what your seven days might look like.

Day 1

Your adventure will kick off with our infamous jog and dip. This is exactly what it says it is—you will jump or run into the lake or sea, immersing yourself in the Outward Bound experience from the very start. 

Next, you'll explore the grounds with your group and the instructor you will spend the next seven days with, who will let you know what to expect and help ease any nerves.

Day 2 and 3

Make sure to eat your breakfast as you'll need your energy on these days. It's time for you to discover the outdoors and go exploring in the wild. 

Over the next two days, you'll undertake epic activities in wild locations. At the end of these days, you'll feel on top of the world, full of confidence and a brand new appreciation for the natural world.

Day 4

Just when you thought its can't get further from your comfort zone, welcome to Day 4. 

Take an all-day expedition through the wilderness. your journey will take you over land and water where you'll be doing a mix of activities. 

During your week stay you will also experience an overnight expedition, sleep in tents with your new friends and experience wild locations.

Day 5

Wake up from a night in the tent, head out on an all day adventure, You'll explore and discover new areas, and today gives you and your group the perfect opportunity to push yourself outside of your comfort zone. 

Come back to centre to share stories with your friends in front of the campfire.

Day 6

Remeber, this is Outward Bound so your journey will be filled with challenging activities as it has been all week. Your instructor will also set you new challenges, giving you the opportunity to practise your independent skills. 

This day will be your final full day of adventure, so make the most of it!

Day 7

This might be the final day of your adventure, but the energy levels don't drop. 

Before you leave, pick up your certificate and put it on display when you return home - you will feel you have achieved something monumental this week.
