Here's what your Summer Adventure could look like...

Every centre is different but here is a taster of what your five days might look like.

Day 1

Your adventure will kick off with our infamous jog and dip. This is exactly what it says it is—you will jump or run into the lake or sea, immersing yourself in the Outward Bound experience from the very start.

Next, you'll explore the grounds with your group and the instructor you will spend the next five days with, who will let you know what to expect and help ease any nerves.

Day 2 and 3

Make sure to eat your breakfast as you'll need your energy on these days. It's time for you to discover the outdoors and go exploring in the wild.

Over the next two days, you'll undertake epic activities in wild locations. At the end of these days, you'll feel on top of the world, full of confidence and a brand new appreciation for the natural world.

Day 4 and 5

Just when you thought it couldn't get further from your comfort zone, welcome to Day 4.

Take an all-day expedition through the wilderness. your journey will take you over land and water where you'll be doing a mix of activities. Your journey will finish at a camp where you will cook out and eat under stars. If you’re aged over 13, you may also camp overnight and return to your centre the next day.

If you’re on an overnight expedition, you’ll wake up in the wild and make your way back to centre. Before you leave on Day 5, make sure to pick up your certificate and badge so you can display them on your return home - you will feel you have achieved something monumental this week.
