Teachers, parents and donors often tell us; ‘There’s something about being here, you can’t quite put it into words. If you could bottle the feeling, everyone would want some.’

We want more people to get this feeling, so we’re opening our doors every Friday during term time. Come and spend some time at one of our outdoor centres and experience Outward Bound first-hand.

If you’ve ever wondered what a week with Outward Bound truly looks like, from the power of the natural environment to the professionalism of our instructors, this is your chance to see it all in action.

Join us for an Open Friday at one of our residential centres. You’ll meet our team, tour the site, and see pupils from other schools reflecting at the end of their course. No slideshows. No sales pitches. Just a genuine look at the life-changing experiences we deliver every week.

What to expect:

  • A guided tour with one of our education team
  • Time to observe live sessions and pupil engagement
  • Insights into how we tailor experiences for different year groups and needs
  • The opportunity to ask questions and explore how Outward Bound could work for your school or trust

Why attend?

Senior leaders tell us that seeing Outward Bound in action is what convinces them it’s more than just a trip; it’s a powerful intervention in pupil development, confidence, and resilience. If you’re considering how to make the most of your enrichment, transition, or Pupil Premium funding, this visit could be the perspective you need.

Book your Open Friday now by speaking to your account manager, or fill out the form to start your enquiry.

Spaces are limited to keep the experience personal and focused.
