Bobsleigh and Skeleton Challenge

This is your chance to ride with the GB Bobsleigh and Skeleton team down one of the fastest tracks in the world, Innsbruck in Austria, twice the host venue of the Winter Olympics.

Here's what awaits you in Innsbruck... are you ready for our adrenalin packed adventure?

The itinerary:

The Bobsleigh Challenge will take place from Thursday 23rd - Saturday 25th November 2017. Four star accommodation and all meals will be provided for your two night stay.

Thursday 23 November

Arrive at Innsbruck and check in to the hotel. Your first night will give you a chance to meet your fellow ‘Bobbers’ plus the GB athletes who will be guiding you through the challenge.

Friday 24 November

The GB Team will take you through a track walk and get you ready for a truly unique thrill that you’re sure to never forget. Experience the ride of your life as you fly down the Olympic track in a 4-man bobsleigh, hitting speeds of up to 75 mph and feeling up to 5g of force. You’ll be piloted by a British Olympic driver and pushed off by a GB brakeman and they've every intention of making your bobsleigh experience as realistic as possible by going as fast they can around each of the 14 corners.

If that wasn’t enough then you can face the ice head-first and race down the track on a skeleton. Britain are the Olympic champions, with Lizzy Yarnold winning Gold in 2014 and Amy Williams in 2010, so you will be being trained by the best of the best.

British Bobsleigh Championships:

Once you’ve experienced the Formula One of winter sports first-hand, you’ll watch the professionals as the British Bobsleigh Championships take place on the very same track that you will have just ridden moments earlier. Your track times will count in the competition so you have an outside chance of winning the championships yourself!

Saturday 25 November

Depart at your leisure.
