Use winter to prepare for the challenges of summer
By taking your pupils on a residential course with The Outward Bound Trust during December, January or February you will reap the rewards of teaching pupils who have improved self-esteem, are more confident and more resilient throughout the rest of the school year.
We make the most of winter conditions to challenge our participants even further, resulting in greater benefits seen back in the classroom. So even if you have already booked your next residential course, get in touch and find out how we can help you the following year.
Winter funding available
If eligible, you can also get up to 40% funding to help pay for an Outward Bound course during the winter months. With our financial assistance a 5-day fully inclusive residential could cost as little as £210pp*.
This funding is available as we’re a charity committed to ensuring as many
young people as possible get access to adventurous and challenging outdoor learning courses.
