New Year, New Adventure!

Last week marked the launch of our latest video - spreading the word about our exciting new Skills for Life Award course starting summer 2015.

The Skills for Life Award has been developed to help young people aged 15-19 to build the confidence and skills they need to stand out from the crowd, and make an effective transition into further education or employment.

Skills for Life Award participants get to experience all manner of outdoor pursuits, from climbing to kayaking to gorge walking and camping, during 19 days of high adventure.

The footage follows the journey of participant Jessica Clarence on her very own Skills for Life adventure - from booking, participating in activities, through to putting the skills she developed on the course to good use on her CV.

The video illustrates how an Outward Bound course can help young people prepare themselves for the next stage in their lives.

A special thanks goes out to Walsall Academy who allowed us to include some of their Go Pro footage from their latest Outward Bound adventure!

The video also features a number of our Trustees, who were able to discuss the merits of the Award from the perspective of industry experts and education professionals.

And in case any of you wanted to know the name of the song, it's 'Devil in Me' by the 22-20s.
