The Outward Bound Trust is an educational charity providing adventure-based, outdoor learning for young people from six centres across the UK.
The Fundraising Team currently raises over £6m a year to provide funding for underprivileged young people to attend our courses, equipping them with the confidence, determination, and resilience to overcome their disadvantages and make a success of their lives.
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and self-motivated individual to build and manage a research and prospecting programme within a national charity to help deliver our fundraising strategic goals.
As we look to expand our reach from 25,000 to 30,000 young people by 2020, along with a new centre to accommodate them, we need a Research Executive to support our Major Gifts team and identify and research new donors.
The Research Executive will also be responsible for managing the database with regard to all new and prospective donors, as well as taking ownership of the Fundraising Team’s regulatory and industry compliance policies.
