Maternity cover April 2019 to April 2020
Hours per week 22.5 (with the possibility of extending full time)
Salary £11k- £14.5k p.a. (dependent on relevant experience, based on 22.5 hours)
Location Head Office, Hackthorpe, Penrith

Do you have a keen interest in IT and super organised?

We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our technology team and help contribute to the smooth running of our IT systems.

We’re an educational charity, established in 1941, who help young prepare to face the future with confidence.  Our Outward Bound courses take them on a journey of self-discovery.  They leave the familiar behind and head to the wild hills, lakes and lochs. They take on adventures, overcome challenges and learn about leadership, teamwork and resilience.  Often these experiences can be life changing.

The administrative role will be based at our Head Office, Hackthorpe, close to the Lake District National Park. You’ll play an important role in supporting our Technology team; who ensure the smooth running of The Trust’s IT infrastructure and internal systems, at Hackthorpe and across all our UK centres.

You’ll have a keen eye for purchasing technology services, including our mobile administration/fixed line contracts, as well as ensuring they’re fit for purpose.  Staff support may be required at times.

This temporary opportunity which will start at the beginning of April 2019 and is expected to be for a 12-month period.
