How individuals can help support us

Through your donation or legacy we can carry on our work supporting underprivileged young people across the UK.

Our work has a powerful impact on developing skills for school, work and life, and improving social and emotional wellbeing. Your donations are helping underprivileged young people directly, increasing their self-confidence and ability to trust in others, and equipping them with the tools to make a real success of their lives.

Ways you can help us carry on supporting underprivileged young people

By making a donation, you can immediately have an impact on the life of a young person. There are many ways you can donate to us, including considering a regular monthly or annual donation, through payroll giving or by donating online. Or download our pdf donation form and contact us direct.

A legacy left by you can support the future of The Outward Bound Trust, as it guarantees the sustainability of the charity and allows us to reach more young people across the UK and improve their social and emotional wellbeing.

If you would like to leave a legacy gift, our registered address is:

The Outward Bound Trust
Hackthorpe Hall
Cumbria CA10 2HX

Registered charity no: 1128090 in England and Wales; no: SC040341 in Scotland.

To speak to someone in our fundraising team about leaving a legacy gift, please contact Sarah Mends via email or call 020 3301 6484.

Making a donation in memory of a loved one is a positive way of commemorating a life, whilst giving the opportunity for a young person to make a change in their own life by supporting them to develop their skills and abilities.

You can do this by setting up a memorial fund online through JustGiving, by making a donation to a memorial fund that has already been set up, or by getting in touch with us.
