We are an educational charity and the UK’s leading provider of bursary-assisted outdoor learning courses - over 60% of our education participants are financially supported by an Outward Bound bursary.

Our approach is based on an experiential learning process with learning, adventure, challenge, and of course fun, at the heart of it. And with four residential centres located in beautiful wilderness environments, participants have doorstep access to the lochs, mountains, seas, estuaries, fells and crags on a daily basis.

As Kurt Hahn, the Co-founder of Outward Bound said more than 70 years ago, "we are all better than we know. If only we can be brought to realise this, we may never be prepared to settle for anything less".
