Serious Adventure - Expedition (18-24)
Watching sunsets from breathtaking summits, camping out under the stars and journeying through remote mountain valleys - adventures don't come much better than this.
You'll start your week setting up base camp, getting first hand camp craft experience and learning the basics of hill and mountain walking. As the adventure continues, you'll reach some of the highest peaks the UK has to offer, bivvy out in the wild, raft, canoe or kayak across beautiful lakes and put your new mountain and navigation skills to the test. Along the way you’ll develop your leadership and communication skills, gain confidence and stretch yourself in ways that you never imagined.

All prices shown are per person, inclusive of VAT (where appropriate) at the current rate, and include food, accommodation, bed linen, waterproofs, equipment, tuition and·insurance worth £35 per week. Dates include arrival and departure days. Bursaries are available for individuals, for further information please see financial assistance. A non-refundable deposit of *£100 per person will be required when booking. In the unlikely event that your chosen course is already full our customer services team will contact you to discuss alternative dates and venues.
*Please note there is now a 2.5% charge for all online bookings. This is due to fees that The Outward Bound Trust is charged for credit card payment processing. As a charitable trust, we are unfortunately unable to continue to absorb this cost.
All online bookings must be confirmed on our central reservation system. In the event that the course you are booking is full, we will contact you within 48hrs (Mon-Fri) of receiving your booking to suggest an alternative option or give you a full refund. We endeavour to ensure all full courses are removed from the booking system as soon as possible in order to avoid this happening.
