Our approach is unique.
We work in partnership with schools, colleges and youth groups across the UK to deliver experiential wilderness programmes in areas of outstanding natural beauty, which are tailored to meet groups' individual needs and values.
Our instructors are expert educators and are highly experienced at delivering outdoor learning residentials. They have the skills, maturity and experience to both support and challenge young people, whether in the review rooms or up a mountain. In addition to undertaking exciting and challenging outdoor activities, we believe in immersing young people as deeply as possible in the natural environment. Whilst the immediate goal is for participants to become more effective in their learning, we believe the skills developed during our courses enable them to continue to thrive throughout their lives.
Adventure and Challenge: An ideal introduction to Outward Bound, this course allows the participants to experience new challenges whilst increasing their confidence and self-esteem. It provides ideal opportunities to enable participants to work as a team but will also encourage independent learning and individual achievement.
Engaging in learning: Ideal for pupils that are struggling in the classroom, this course looks to increase their self-confidence, resilience and helps them to realise their true potential. Through challenging and adventurous activities, they will understand the value of effort and reward and will learn how to work as part of a team.
Eco and sustainability: This course is designed to give the participants a greater understanding of the environment around them, including the issues surrounding climate change and sustainability. It will give your pupils a sense of responsibility and also an appreciation for the natural world.
