The Skills for Life Award Scholarship
The skills I've learnt throughout my Skills for Life Award course will benefit me massively as I enter my final year at 6th form and prepare for university. The memories I have created on the course and the friends I have made, will last a life time. Skills for Life Award participant
An Outward Bound scholarship can’t be bought – they are earned.
Either by a small number of individuals who have shown enormous potential on their previous Outward Bound experience and have been awarded a scholarship by their instructor to take on our biggest adventure.
Or by individuals looking for an exciting and challenging personal adventure to get ahead of their peers, prepare themselves for their future and who are willing to take the first step by applying for one of our limited scholarship places available for summer 2016 and 2017 courses.
A scholarship will take you to new places, introduce you to new people, fine tune your skills and confidence, and help you to stand out in an ever more competitive world.
It entitles you to up to 50% funding*, that's more than £800 towards an Outward Bound Skills for Life Adventure.
To find out more about our scholarship scheme and how to redeem yours, or to apply for 2016 or 2017 visit obtrustscholarships.org
* Our scholarship application process is open to all UK residents and passport holders, aged between 15-19 years on the start date of their Skills for Life Award course in 2016 or 2017. Spaces are limited, the level of funding received by each individual is subject to application and funding availability.
